Caro Libertad is an electronic artist and DJ with an authorial project that bridges melodic and deep electronic structures with afro-influenced rhythms, organic textures and hypnotic soundscapes, creating immersive, ritual-oriented dancefloor journeys where body, energy and music converge.
With a background in Ethnology from the National School of Anthropology and History and Music Production at SAE Institute, her work weaves together ancestral knowledge, bodily awareness and cosmological thought. Her sets often move through progressive, trance-informed and psychedelic atmospheres, using repetition, texture and rhythm as gateways to expanded states of consciousness.
Her work has been presented on international platforms such as Ibiza Live Radio, positioning her sound within the global electronic music circuit, as well as in immersive artistic contexts like Burning Man, where music, ritual and collective experience converge.
Born in Oaxaca, Mexico—historically known as Green Antequera—Caro’s artistic vision is influenced by ancestral wisdom and a deep curiosity for the mysteries of the universe, elements that permeate her sonic narrative without limiting it to geography.
Her musical path began in 2014 as a digital percussionist for the synth-rock band Del Toro in Mexico City. In 2019, she entered the world of DJing, performing across multiple Mexican cities, and by 2020 she began producing her own music, shaping an intimate yet powerful sonic identity.
In recent years, she released singles such as “Nueva Dimensión” and “Nirvana” (2024), laying the groundwork for her upcoming debut EP. In 2025, she received the Future Talent Award within the framework of the International Music Summit (IMS), further expanding her international projection.
In early 2026, she released “Nueva Era,” the first single of the year, opening a new creative cycle rooted in deep, ritual electronic music and serving as a foundation for more expansive, trance-informed explorations.
She is currently developing a new EP that fuses electronic music with sounds of nature, allowing her work to function as a sensorial and ritual experience—honoring the Earth, activating presence on the dancefloor, and inviting collective states of awareness.
