🎧 My DJ journey began in 1995 – not in a club, but in my childhood bedroom. Two tape decks, a few vinyls, and a lot of patience: I spent hours trying to create smooth transitions by timing play and pause just right. Not exactly elegant – but full of passion. Inspired by 90s US hip-hop and heavy drum and bass beats from London, it didn’t take long before I landed my first gigs. Soon after: resident DJ at the legendary E-Werk. Boom.
🔥 Late 90s to 2006? Wild, loud, and unforgettable. The Quer-Club and Betty Ford in Hamburg became my second home. Every night was an adventure, every crowd a new story.
🍼 And then? I became a father. Swapped turntables for diapers, sold my record collection for €500 – to furnish the nursery, not for eternity. The music paused, life played in a different rhythm.
⏳ 20 years later, she appeared – a special woman who didn’t just bring love, but also something I hadn’t felt in a long time: my passion for music. Not just nostalgia – the real spark.
🔁 And now? I’m putting the needle back on the record – with the digital sound right alongside it. Old love meets new vibe. And it feels damn good.
