Sekou

SEKOU is a Spanish DJ and producer based in Germany, developing a distinctive sound at the intersection of Afro House, Afro Tech and Latin influences. Driven by rhythm, energy and connection, his performances move between deep, percussive grooves and powerful club-focused moments.

A defining element of the project is SEKOU’s live concept alongside Cuban percussionist Michel Vizcaíno. Together, they combine electronic music with live percussion, creating a dynamic exchange between DJ, musician and dancefloor. Rather than simply adding percussion to a DJ set, the performance is built around interaction, improvisation and moments specifically designed for the live format.

As a producer, SEKOU continues to develop his own musical identity through original releases available across major digital platforms, bringing together African-inspired rhythms, soulful elements, Latin influences and contemporary electronic production.

His journey has already taken him across Spain, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Italy, Morocco, Sri Lanka and the Maldives, performing for international audiences across clubs, festivals, beach clubs and exclusive events.

SEKOU can be presented both as a solo DJ performance and, for selected events, together with Michel Vizcaíno as an expanded live experience — offering promoters two formats while maintaining the same musical identity at the core.

With new music, international performances and the continued development of the live concept, SEKOU is building a project focused not only on the music being played, but on the connection and experience created around it.
