Biografía completa

Brenda Sayuri, Brazilian-born and of Japanese descent, is a Madrid-based producer and live techno artist with more than two decades of musical experience. Her musical journey began as a guitarist at the Brazilian Conservatory of Music in Rio de Janeiro, before evolving toward electronic music, analog synthesis, and modular sound design.

Since moving to Spain in 2014, Brenda has developed a distinctive approach to live techno, combining drum machines, modular synthesizers, and hardware sequencing to create precise, hypnotic, and physically driven performances. Performing exclusively live, she builds each set in real time, balancing structure and spontaneity to create a sound that moves between raw, industrial textures and deeper, more atmospheric elements.

Her musical influences include artists such as Oscar Mulero, Tensal, Nørbak, PSYK, Adriana Lopez, and Helena Hauff, whose approaches to sound, texture, and performance have influenced her own artistic development.

Alongside her work as a producer and live performer, Brenda has composed and produced music for dance, theatre, advertising, and other audiovisual projects, as well as creating remixes for international artists. Her discography reflects an ongoing exploration of rhythm, repetition, tension, and sonic texture.

Her latest EP, Patterns of Behavior, marks a new stage in her musical evolution, exploring repetition, conditioning, exhaustion, and the patterns that shape human behaviour through a raw and hypnotic techno language.
