David Arias

David Arias (born March 27, 1997) is a Colombian DJ origin based in Palma de Mallorca (Spain), whose passion for electronic music developed at a very young age thanks to the influence of his father; a technician and head of sound and lighting setup for some of Ibiza’s most iconic nightclubs, such as Pachá, Privilege, and El Divino, among other ones in Europe; thanks to him he grew up surrounded by the clubbing culture that would shape later his artistic identity on the Balearic Islands’ electronic music scene.

At age 13, he began DJing as a hobby and after years of training and perfecting his technique, in 2024 he decided to turn that passion into a true vocation. His first residency and starting point was at Thalassa, with the promoter Magma Events, and from there he has gradually made his way into other leading clubs on the island, including: AMØK, Brooklyn, Es Molí, Boomerang, Lunita, Bamboo, Pure Night Club, and La Gintoneria, establishing himself as an emerging name within the local scene.

David Arias identifies primarily with the genres Minimal/Deep Tech, Tech House, House, and Deep House. His set is defined by a selection of tracks that generally exude seriousness and elegance, ranging from more upbeat to darker tracks, featuring powerful basslines and a solid groove, while maintaining consistency in the musical structure and ensuring clean transitions and equalization.

Alongside his work as a DJ, David spends time producing music in his own studio, with the aim of releasing his first EP in the near future and developing a unique sound that reflects his artistic vision. His medium- to long-term goal is to launch his own record label, through which he hopes to bring value and character to the electronic music scene.
