TROCADO

Born and raised in Portugal, Raul Trocado—known artistically as Trocado—is an electronic music producer and DJ steadily carving out his own place in the international scene. His catalogue includes standout releases on Ibiza-based Sudam Records, where his music received strong support across the island. He has also released “My Girl” on Alessa Khin’s Afrokhin imprint and “Trust” on Amsterdam label Riythmica’s *Travels VA*. The latter earned support from renowned artists including Joseph Capriati, Deer Jade, Paco Osuna, Chus & Ceballos, Alfa Romero, and others.

Behind the decks, Trocado is defined by his versatility and instinctive connection with the dancefloor. Rooted in his Portuguese identity and driven by a genuine passion for electronic music, he moves confidently across different sonic territories—blending melodic atmospheres and emotional depth with darker textures and powerful, driving rhythms.

His sets unfold as carefully shaped journeys, flowing naturally between high-energy moments and deeper, more introspective passages. With a keen ear for rhythm, progression, and emotion, Trocado creates performances that feel both personal and immersive, guiding audiences through constantly evolving soundscapes. This balance of musical sensitivity and dancefloor energy positions him as a distinctive and promising voice within Portugal’s new generation of electronic artists.
