SOUTHKIES

From Almeria, SOUTHKIES emerges as one of the most solid proposals of the new generation of artists focused on hardgroove and high-impact techno. Formed by SïMØN and GARCĪÂ, this duo has developed a sound identity based on energy, rhythmic forcefulness and a musical selection that fuses the purest essence of groove with industrial influences and contemporary techno.

Their shared vision of electronic music has allowed them to build intense, dynamic and carefully structured sessions, where the connection with the dance floor becomes the central element of each performance. The combination of technique, track reading and a constant search for innovative sounds has made SOUTHKIES a project in continuous evolution within the national underground scene.

Throughout their career, they have been part of events organized by promoters such as Chain Club, Nitro, TussyTech and Jaleo Music, taking their sound to different spaces and consolidating an increasingly prominent presence within the electronic circuit. They have also participated in festivals such as Marble Music Festival and Univerfest, sharing the stage with both national and international reference artists.

They are currently resident DJs of Kamikaze Collective, a collective from which they actively promote electronic culture and contribute to the growth of the scene in southern Spain. Their journey has allowed them to share the stage with names of great relevance such as Kobosil, Cristobal Pesce, Carlos Agraz, K-Style, Pepo and Pastis & Buenri, consolidating their experience in large-format events and highly demanding scenarios.

Beyond trends, SOUTHKIES is committed to an honest and track-oriented proposal, where groove, intensity and energy are the fundamental pillars. With a constantly growing trajectory and a clear projection for the future, the duo continues to position itself as one of the most interesting emerging bets within the Spanish hardgroove scene.
