SickSpud

SickSpud — A key figure in the Swiss underground techno scene for over 25 years.

From 1999, he immersed himself in the world of Swiss free parties and clubs, before becoming a resident DJ at a Lausanne club in 2000. He quickly followed up with sets in the temples of French-speaking Switzerland's nightlife: MAD, La Ruche, Love Zoo, Markthalle, Unit, Level…

In 2006, he delivered his first solo live act at Artamis in Geneva, then became a resident DJ at the legendary V-SO Club in Martigny until its closure in 2012.

His meeting with St-Paul, founder of the Psyberpunk parties and a pioneer of techno in French-speaking Switzerland, gave birth to the duo Genetic Dysfunction. Together, they left an indelible mark on the scene with their explosive, improvised live performances lasting five hours or more, which became legendary until 2017. Building on this experience, SickSpud took the reins of the web radio station UZIC.ch as programmer and producer.

Today, he continues to mix, compose, and perform under two identities: SickSpud and DeepSpud, always with the same raw passion and instantly recognizable sound.
