Sammy Dean is a UK house DJ and producer bringing together chunky drums, rolling basslines, uplifting vocals and a healthy dose of funk and disco attitude.
Based in the North West of England, Sammy’s sound sits between groove-led tech house, contemporary house and feel-good vibes. Her sets are high-energy without losing musicality, built for packed club rooms, festival stages and sun-soaked terraces alike.
A lifelong house music obsessive, Sammy first learned to DJ on vinyl after growing up around the UK rave scene, before returning to the decks and rapidly building a second chapter to her career. Since then she has played at Glastonbury, Beatherder, Forbidden Forest, Ministry of Sound and Fabric, alongside international appearances at Eden, Es Paradis and BamBuKu in Ibiza and events in Malta and Croatia.
As a producer, Sammy continues to develop the same groove-heavy identity found in her DJ sets. Her 2026 single “Put Your Phone Down”, created with Gussy Campbell, combined an upfront club groove with a playful vocal concept, while her latest record “Play The Game” lands on Wh0 Worx in September 2026, placing her firmly within the contemporary house ecosystem she is building towards.
Behind the decks, Sammy is equally comfortable opening a room, building energy through a daytime or terrace set, or delivering a more peak-time house performance. Her musical DNA remains consistent throughout: big grooves, rolling low end, uplifting moments and tracks that make people want to move.
Alongside her artist career, Sammy is the founder of A Very Important House Party, an inclusive house-music brand built around connection, community and making dancefloors welcoming to everyone, including people arriving alone.
With new music, an expanding UK and European diary and a sound increasingly aligned with the current house circuit, Sammy Dean is carving out a distinctive space where big basslines meet big smiles.
