Ricardo Vega

I'm Ricardo Vega, DJ and producer from Mexico City, and my relationship with music began at a very young age. Although I started my journey within the electronic scene in 2024, music has always been an essential part of my life and the way I express myself.

My sound moves between Techno, House, Tech House, Deep House, Melodic and Bounce, exploring different tempos and energies ranging from approximately 90 to 160 BPM. I like to build sets that feel like a journey: starting with an intro that creates atmosphere, going through moments of tension, and getting to parts of intense energy where groove and rhythm take over.

What defines my playing the most is the energy I transmit and the tension I build on the dance floor. I like to take risks in my selections and transitions, looking to surprise and keep the audience connected to the rhythm.

My influences come from artists like Mischluft, Shlømo, Mochakk, James Hype and Funk Tribu, who inspire me to look for dynamic sets, with groove and personality.

In addition to my development as a DJ and producer, I am currently working on the creation of a collective with a friend, with the intention of building a creative space where the music, curation and energy of the scene can grow authentically.

When I play, my intention is that people can feel the rhythm of my energy and my heart in the music. For me, the track is not just a place to listen to tracks, but a space where music connects everyone at the same time.

I'm just starting my journey as an artist, developing my sound and preparing new projects.
