I’m from Santiago, Chile. Journalist and drummer for over ten years, rooted in jazz, rock and reggae. I got into music through my brother, guitarist of Colayuta.
I’m a DJ and producer. I’ve been into electronic music since I was a kid. I spent a long time deep in techno, and now I’m slowly moving back toward minimal. Techno still fascinates me, but I feel like trying something different.
Music has always been the one constant in my life. I drift through everything, but music stays at the center. it’s what keeps me grounded. I started producing in 2020 and DJing in 2023. I’ve played with the Nevula collective here in Santiago, and I lived in Amsterdam for six months, where I played techno events like Raving Charlie. Getting to know those scenes opened my mind.
In my sets I care about groove and sound quality, I like tracks with detail, those little elements that work as ear candy when you really listen. I try to keep a dynamic where people don’t get bored, taking them on a kind of journey, without being invasive but catching attention. I always try to keep my sound selection as unique and exotic as possible, including unreleased ids constantly. I like to make my own livesets in exotic places, for my movement @vivemilruidos
When I’m not with music, I’m in the mountains. Skiing and mountain biking have been one of my biggest passions since I was a kid, right alongside photography and content creation. I’m a videographer, I love filming other DJs’ sets and everything to do with producing media. Like any good journalist, I always end up telling stories one way or another: with the camera, with sound, or with music.
