Pablo Escalante

Pablo Escalante is a 24-year-old singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, originally from Yucatan and whose connection with music began at an early age. He began playing the guitar at the age of 12 and, a few years later, he also discovered his passion for singing and later for the piano. His artistic proposal is mainly framed in pop and ballads with rock tinges, genres in which he has found a space to express deep emotions and connect with his audience in an authentic way.

Among his influences are artists such as Ed Sheeran, Pablo Alborán, Samo, Luis Miguel and Michael Bublé, as well as groups such as Camila, Sin Bandera and Matisse, whose aesthetics have influenced both his vocal style and his way of composing.

Currently, she is a student of the technical career in Musical Arts with a specialty in Popular Singing at the UNAY (University of the Arts of Yucatan). In this space he has enhanced his skills as a performer and musician, also venturing into traditional genres such as bolero and Yucatecan trova, to improve his versatility in various genres and also as a way to reconnect with his cultural roots and expand his artistic language.

With a warm voice, sensitivity in interpretation and an honest approach in his lyrics, Pablo Escalante seeks to build a solid musical identity that combines the contemporary with the traditional, always from a personal and emotional perspective.

Throughout his career and artistic development he has been part of different musical groups, including the Chamber Choir of the University of the Arts of Yucatan, Amasing Official and Lover Music Band. Likewise, she has actively participated in various inter-university singing events, obtaining first and second places in different editions thanks to her vocal interpretation, stage presence and artistic sensitivity.

Outside the academic field, she won second place in the amateur singing contest of ShowTime Karaoke Bar, a local contest that brought together emerging talents and was evaluated by a jury made up of renowned Yucatecan artists such as Yahir Rangel and Yamile Galván. In addition, he has been part of multiple presentations on public and collaborative stages, including "Un Mundo de Fantasía", a staging with Disney musical classics, organized by Studio Vocal in collaboration with Broadway Studio and Instituto Granados, where he demonstrated his interpretive capacity within the musical theater format; and the concert "Mediterráneo", performed together with the renowned singer María Teresa and the Popular Ensemble of the UNAY, in a proposal that celebrated music of Hispanic and Latin American roots.

These experiences have contributed significantly to her stage and professional growth, allowing her to strengthen her artistic identity both in competitive contexts and in collaborative and cultural productions.
