NINA KRAVIZ

Nina Kraviz is a Russian DJ, producer, vocalist and label owner born in Irkutsk, Siberia. She fell in love with house music in the mid-90s through radio, before moving to Moscow to study dentistry. By 2008 she had secured a residency at Moscow's Propaganda Club, where her sound began to take shape.

Her solo career took off in 2009 with releases on Underground Quality and Rekids, followed by her self-titled debut album in 2012 — home to the enduring club track "Ghetto Kraviz". In 2014 she founded трип (Trip), her own record label, which Mixmag named label of the year in 2015.

Known for her raw, hypnotic selections that span acid house, deep techno and electronica, Kraviz is celebrated for her emotionally charged DJ sets and her refusal to compromise on sound. She has headlined festivals like Awakenings, Sonar and Coachella, and holds residencies at iconic venues including Berghain and Fabric. A true original in the global electronic music scene.
