Monkey_Esquire started off his DJing journey in 2020 and he began that journey with House music, that quickly moved onto Tech House and Bass House, but this was not where his soul truly belonged or resonated with.

After a brief journey through multiple other genres he found himself at Techno, moving from Acid Techno to Hypnotic Techno then Peak Time/Driving Techno until he finally found the sound that resonated with him on an astronomical level.

This is the style he has stuck with since 2023 and has crafted multiple sets, to express his passion through, in the same way that he has experienced his journey of this beautiful genre.

The style he plays is a blend of Raw Techno and Hardgroove Techno, that becomes Rawgroove Techno, which is played deep from his souls journey to take the listeners souls on a journey of their own.

Monkey_Esquires most recent set is one of his proudest moments to date, which was having the honour of being asked to feature in BCCO's Mix Series, on the 21st March 2026.

His event history has been mainly spread across cities in England which include - CODE at Beaverworks in Leeds, Techno Pulse Ignition at The Emporium in Coalville, Techno Pulse Ignition at Boxed and Cube Bar in Leicester, Ignition Helix at Annies Attic in Southend On Sea.

He played a set for OST Presents The Last Of Us - The End at Atlantic Live Lounge in Portrush, Northern Ireland and for Lost in Ayia Napa, both were in 2023 and the only times he's played outside of England so far.

He also had former residencies with Techno Pulse Recordings, at their live events and on their internet radio station, as well as a former residency with FNOOB Techno on their internet radio station. All the sets, from both radio shows, can be found on SoundCloud.
