Leonel Sain

Leonel Sain is an Argentinian DJ and producer currently living in Spain, whose relationship with electronic music began at a young age. At the age of 12 he discovered the impact that this genre could generate when he heard for the first time sounds that aroused in him a curiosity and an emotion that was difficult to explain. From that moment on, a passion was born that over time would become a constant search within music.

During his adolescence he began to get more and more involved in the electronic scene, sharing music with friends, organizing small parties and taking his first steps as a DJ. Between 2012 and 2015 he developed a large part of his first experiences within the local scene of Villa Gesell, performing in different clubs, bars and events in the city. In those years he had the opportunity to play in emblematic spaces of the Geselina night such as Pueblo Límite, Bloom, Nivel 5 and Block, in addition to participating in different parties and meetings linked to electronic culture.

At the same time, he began to take an interest in music production, exploring tools and techniques that would allow him to transfer his ideas to his own compositions. Influenced by the techno and minimal underground scene of the early 2010s, he found inspiration in the hypnotic grooves, deep atmospheres and characteristic sounds of a stage that profoundly marked his musical identity.

For personal reasons, from 2015 he moved away from both music and the electronic scene for several years. However, the connection with these sounds never disappeared. After a long period dedicated to other projects and life experiences, he decided to resume his musical path in 2026 with a new perspective, greater maturity and the same passion that had led him to fall in love with electronic music years ago.

His return coincided with a stage of personal transformation, living between Argentina and Spain, and rediscovering music from a more authentic place. In 2026 he returned to perform as a DJ at Villa Gesell and resumed musical production with renewed energy, focusing on the development of an artistic project that reflected both his original influences and his personal evolution.

Currently, Leonel develops a sound that moves between Techno and Minimal Techno, combining deep grooves, hypnotic elements and a strong orientation to the dance floor. He understands music as a form of personal expression and as a space for constant learning, where each production represents a new opportunity to continue growing, exploring and sharing what he has been passionate about for more than fifteen years.

His goal is to continue building his own sound identity, keeping alive the spirit of the sounds that sparked his love for electronic music and seeking to transmit that same energy through each set and each production.
