Huvinbeat

Huvinbeat is the musical project of Hugo Calvo, DJ and producer born and resident in Ibiza. His path in music began at a very young age, when he began studying violin at the conservatory when he was only 8 years old. That classical base was the starting point for a journey that over time led him to explore new forms of sound expression, from the composition of soundtracks for video games and short films, to the production of electronic music.

In 2022 she completed a High National Degree in Music Production, which allowed her to delve deeper into studio work and shape her style. A year later, in 2023, he began DJing professionally with DJ equipment, although he had been experimenting with mixing software from a very young age.

His sound moves between Tech House, Minimal Tech and Melodic Techno, with influences ranging from Joseph Capriati, Franky Rizardo or Mind Against, to classical composers who marked his early years as a musician.

Between 2023 and 2024 he released three Melodic Techno singles under the Moonlife Records label, an experience that allowed him to continue developing his facet as a producer and connect with new audiences.

During this time she has had the opportunity to share her music at festivals such as A Summer Story Madrid and venues such as Playa Soleil Ibiza, Es Paradis Ibiza, Lolas Club Ibiza and Ocean Drive Ibiza. He also hosts a weekly radio show called Island Grooves, on local station Ibiza Paradise.

In 2023 he was selected as the winner of the Trade DJ Contest, organized by Trade DJ and the A Summer Story festival. A recognition that gave him the impetus to continue developing his proposal, always with respect for music and with a desire to continue learning.
