GLIA

Ever since the release of her debut album in 2023 on Diffuse Reality, GLIA has continued shaping herself as a well-defined yet constantly evolving artist. Originally from Slovenia, now based in Berlin, she has been rooted in music since 2015, developing her craft through DJing, sound design, and a deep fascination with how rhythm, texture, and emotion can merge into a singular sonic identity. Her sound draws from the raw frame of techno and the atmospheric tension of sound design, building a signature defined by hypnotic rhythms, driven momentum, and subtle contrasts in sound effects that build an unmistakable intensity—in her DJ sets as well as in her production. This distinct approach has led her to perform worldwide in some of the most respected clubs and festivals, sharing the stage with leading names across the industry. Releases on labels such as Suara, Adroit, Bipolar Disorder, and others have carried this vision forward, gaining recognition from artists who resonate with her precise yet emotionally grounded approach. GLIA’s work extends far beyond the booth and studio. She founded the imprint Human Nature, reflecting her commitment to shaping community and carving out spaces built on intention, collaboration, and artistic integrity. Continuously exploring the emotional and structural possibilities of techno, GLIA stands for pushing boundaries with authenticity and curiosity—always moving, always refining, always shaping the next layer of her sound.
