Full bio

I’m DJ MishMash. A DJ and a developing producer from Bulgaria, focused on building a versatile and adaptable sound across different electronic music styles. My approach is performance-driven: reading the crowd, managing energy, and making decisions in real time that keep a set moving with intention. I don’t limit myself to one genre. I work across tech house, techno, drum and bass, and harder styles, depending on the environment and what the situation requires. For me, the goal is not repetition of the same formula, but the ability to deliver the right energy in the right context.

I got into DJing because of a direct connection to music and the desire to play it for other people. Whenever I went to see artists I liked, I would pay close attention to what was happening behind the decks, how tracks were selected, how transitions were handled, and how the energy in the room was being controlled. That naturally led me to start DJing myself. I began with a basic controller, initially just playing for myself, with no pressure or structure, but with the simple intention of enjoying music in a more active way.

Right now, my focus is on building real-world experience and stepping into live environments. I am actively looking for opportunities to play in clubs, bars, and events. At this stage, the priority is exposure, consistency, and proving reliability in real situations. I approach every opportunity seriously, with preparation and adaptability, because I understand that in this industry, how you operate outside of the booth matters just as much as what you do inside it. Alongside DJing, I am developing my production skills to build a stronger overall foundation as an artist.

Long-term, my goal is to become a versatile DJ capable of performing across different genres and scenes without being locked into one identity. I want to be able to move between different types of music depending on the crowd and the setting, while still maintaining a clear sense of quality and direction in my sets. Influences like James Hype and Metodi Hristov represent different aspects of what I’m building toward: precision, execution, and strong musical identity. I’m still in the process of developing, but the direction is clear, and everything I’m doing is focused on becoming consistent, reliable, and ready for larger stages.
