ARTIST BIO José Álvarez is a Venezuelan DJ based in Santiago de Chile, with a musical career that began around 2012. His artistic proposal is characterized by versatility, musical selection and the ability to connect with different audiences through a dynamic and adaptable sound experience.

His identity as a crossover DJ allows him to travel genres such as salsa, merengue, cumbia, reggaeton, pop and rock, creating sessions that adjust to the energy of each event and the response of the dance floor.

However, electronic music occupies a special place in his artistic vision. His passion for House and, particularly, for Tech House, represents one of the main directions of his musical development. Through these styles, he finds a space to explore rhythms, grooves, textures and sounds that connect with his musical sensibility.

Currently, José Álvarez continues to strengthen his knowledge and prepare himself in music production, with the aim of progressively developing his own sound and transferring his creative ideas from the booth to his own productions.

EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND Since his first steps as a DJ, José Álvarez has developed experience in different musical spaces and contexts, including presentations in nightclubs and events.

Among his experiences are his residency at Bar Guayabo, his participation in an event with Criollo House at Club Chocolate and his participation in Red Bull Barrio Mío, at La Casita Latina. He also has opening experience for Erick Franchesky.

Throughout his career, he has been linked to spaces such as La Huaca, Casona Camaná, Bar La Virgen, Margarita Club and Liga Urbana.

These experiences are part of their professional development and a journey that continues to grow through new opportunities, learning and projects.
