Dantz

Dantz is a cultural platform born in Donostia / San Sebastián dedicated to electronic and avant-garde music, understood as a tool to activate territories, connect communities and generate new cultural experiences.

Since its inception, Dantz has built its own ecosystem that combines festival, musical interventions in unique spaces, professional congress, academia, audiovisual content and cultural cooperation projects. Her work is situated at the crossroads between music, heritage, innovation, landscape and community, promoting formats that bring contemporary culture closer to diverse audiences and unconventional contexts.

Throughout its history, Dantz has developed more than 175 cultural activities and more than 140 Dantz Point experiences, bringing electronic music to urban, natural, heritage and industrial spaces. From beaches, parks, squares, palaces, racecourses or old industrial infrastructures, each project seeks to generate a special relationship between sound, the environment and the people who inhabit it.

Among his main lines of work are Dantz Festival, Dantz Point, Dantz Network Congress and Dantz Academy. Through these projects, the platform promotes both artistic programming and critical thinking, training, the professionalization of the sector and the creation of networks between artists, cultural agents, institutions and citizens.

With a presence in the Basque Country, different parts of Spain and several European countries, Dantz has established itself as a cultural brand with its own identity, capable of connecting the local scene with international circuits.
