Damka

Born in the 80s and based in Switzerland, Damka (real name Karim Pandolfo) has been driven by a deep passion for sound since his teenage years. He picks up his first electric guitar at 15, channeling his energy into the metal band « Switchback », with whom he records two albums and performs on major stages across Switzerland and Europe.

At 18, a live show by the legendary « The Prodigy » opens a new dimension — his gateway into electronic music. That moment marks the beginning of a long love story with Drum & Bass, Dark Psy and Techno.

In 2010, he turns toward sound engineering studies to refine his artistic sensitivity and technical precision. After completing his training, he becomes co-manager at « Studio Mécanique », specializing in mixing and mastering, shaping a meticulous approach to sound design.

In 2024, after years of exploration and experimentation, Damka launches his project as a producer and DJ, to express his ideas shaped by a wide range of influences — a powerful, deep techno, skillfully blended with the psychedelia of the Dark Psy.

His sets and productions unfold like dark journeys — tribal, mental and deeply physical — where tension and release blend into hypnotic motion.

By June 2025, he joins the Geneva-based collective « Bass Wars », making a new chapter in his evolution and securing his place within the Swiss underground scene.
