CANDY FLUX: Our Journey Candy Flux is the electronic music project of Santiago Baravalle and Joaquín Paniego. Born and based in Córdoba, Argentina, our journey began in 2020, at a time when music became a necessary refuge. Since then, we have dedicated ourselves to finding a way of making electronic music that feels real, human, and above all, alive.

Our approach to performance We don't come from the traditional DJ world; we come from music. That’s why, in our live shows, we prefer the "live set" format, where improvisation and looping are constant tools. We like each performance to be slightly different from the last. For us, electronic music is a canvas where synthesizers and samplers coexist with instruments that have been with us forever, like the accordion, guitar, and flugelhorn. We have documented this experience in over four long-duration live video sessions, which are the truest record of what Candy Flux sounds like when we play together.

Studio work While the stage is our favorite place, the studio is where we give shape to our ideas. In 2024, we released our album "Kinds of Flux" (12 tracks), which joins the 9 singles we have shared over time. It was a joy to receive the recognition as "Electronic Revelation Band" at the CIEyA Awards, but our greatest reward remains the process of discovering our own sound, track by track.

Simbiótica and our community We believe music doesn't end on stage. That's why we also get involved in producing "Simbiótica," an event series that has consolidated dozens of editions. Over time, Simbiótica has generated its own community and, thanks to the support of those who follow us, the events have consistently sold out—something we value deeply as a sign of trust from an audience that walks this path with us.

Looking ahead Today, Candy Flux is a project in constant learning. We are very proud of our roots in Córdoba and what we have built so far, but we are eager for our music to travel and reach new audiences. We will continue working with the same curiosity we had on day one, searching for new textures and sounds, and with the excitement of connecting with more people through what we do best: creating music.
