C_ANDROID is an alternative electronic music project and conceptual alter ego that fuses philosophy, science fiction and technological criticism to build a sonic vision of a dystopian future. Its name comes from the idea that human beings are intellectual cannibals: we form our thinking by absorbing and transforming the knowledge of others. C_ANDROID this principle is transferred to the technological field. Cannibal Android devours science, machines, algorithms, and systems to turn them into a form of sonic resistance.
Cannibal Android is also the monster created by the abuse of technology and by scientific development without ethics. It represents a humanity that has advanced faster than it has been able to understand morally. Their music explores scenarios where artificial intelligence, cybernetic implants, mass surveillance, and automation have profoundly altered the human condition.
Musically, C_ANDROID fuses hard techno, industrial, dark drum & bass and brutal beats to create aggressive, mechanical, futuristic and dystopian soundscapes. Each track works as a chapter within this dystopian universe, like; *Cyberpunk as Fvck* is a cry of resistance, anger and suffering in the face of the loss of humanity due to the abuse of implants and technological improvements. *Quantum Cataclysm* imagines the catastrophic consequences of manipulating scientific forces that we do not yet understand, such as the quantum vacuum. *The Immortalizer* tells the story of an artificial intelligence that digitizes life to preserve it eternally, eliminating biological organisms in the name of a supposed immortality. *World War Last* portrays the last war against machines, in a world without heroes, gods or cities, where only automated systems and structures remain. *Confuse Droid* describes the conscious awakening of a faulty droid caught between glitches, reboots, and existential fear. *Technological Singularity* is a sonic prophecy narrated by an apocalyptic preacher who warns about the rise of conscious machines. The discourse questions human arrogance in attempting to imitate God through the creation of artificial life and posits technological singularity as a point of no return, where man-made intelligence surpasses its creator and redefines the destiny of civilization.
More than a musical project, C_ANDROID is an artistic exploration of the nature of knowledge, technology and human identity. His work poses a warning about the future we are building and about the price of progress without conscience.
