Bastīa

Bastia is a rising Afrohouse DJ based in Montréal, whose unique journey from the cockpit to the dancefloor gives him a fresh perspective on music and performance. Born and raised in Metz, France, Bastia earned his wings as a certified airline pilot before answering a deeper calling: the pulsing rhythms of electronic music. An avid festival-goer long before stepping behind the decks, he has soaked up the energy of world-class events such as Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Tomorrowland in Belgium, Coachella in California, and EDC Las Vegas. These experiences ignited his passion for Afrohouse's infectious grooves and inspired him to blend the driving percussion of Africa with contemporary electronic textures. Today, Bastia channels that passion into melodic, percussive, and irresistibly rhythmic sets that transform familiar pop and dance anthems into organic, tribal-infused remixes.
