Born in Colombia, B777 is a DJ whose musical identity is born from the connection between his rhythmic roots, his musical training and a deep passion for the most forceful sounds of underground electronica.
From his early years, he grew up surrounded by tropical sounds and percussions that awakened his sensitivity to rhythm. His musical training began at an early age, when he became part of a symphony orchestra, where he had the opportunity to play wind and percussion instruments. This experience profoundly marked his way of understanding music, developing a vision in which structure, dynamics, melodies and, especially, percussion play a fundamental role.
Over time, that musical base found its natural expression in Hard Techno and Schranz, genres in which B777 has progressively built a sound characterized by its intensity, its rhythmic forcefulness and its ability to maintain a constant connection with the dance floor.
His artistic proposal is influenced by references of the international scene such as Klangkuenstler and O.B.I., as well as by fundamental figures of the old school, including Felix Kröcher and Jason Littler. From these different generations he collects elements that he considers essential for the identity of the genre: the rawness of the industrial sound, the strength of the bass drums, the saturated textures, the hypnotic rhythms and that raw and direct essence that made the classic Schranz an unmistakable sound.
However, B777 does not seek to limit itself to reproducing existing formulas. His goal is to develop his own identity that connects the essence of old-school Schranz with a current vision, giving prominence to groove, saturated percussions and repetitive rhythms that generate tension, movement and energy on the dance floor. For him, the strength of a set lies not only in its speed or aggressiveness, but also in the ability to build a coherent musical path, maintain sound pressure and find the balance between forcefulness, rhythm and musicality.
Over more than two years behind the decks, B777 has taken their proposal to booths in cities such as Vigo, Madrid, Barcelona and León, accumulating experience and developing a personal way of interpreting the track. Their sessions seek to offer a continuous experience, where each transition contributes to the evolution of the sound and where percussion and groove act as a common thread.
Currently, B777 is also working on his development as a music producer, with the aim of transferring his artistic vision to the studio and building a catalog of productions that fully reflects his identity. His search is focused on recovering the essence of old-school Schranz, reinterpreting it from his own perspective: a raw, dark and forceful sound, with powerful bass drums, saturated percussions, industrial textures and a marked groove that invites movement.
Their ambition is to contribute to keeping the essence of classic Schranz alive without renouncing the evolution of the genre, betting on a proposal that respects its roots and, at the same time, provides personality and character. A combination of old-school energy, aggressive percussion and constant groove, conceived for those who understand techno not only as music, but as a physical and emotional experience.
B777 represents a constant search for sound identity: roots, percussion, saturation and groove, united by the same philosophy: to keep the essence of Schranz alive and take it towards its own evolution.
