Arkyn / DJ TUF

Arkyn is a UK-based DJ, producer, and label owner known for his high-energy blend of Jungle, Hardcore, and Jungle Techno. Emerging from the Midlands free party scene, he built his reputation through years of dedicated DJing, earning residencies and becoming a respected figure within the UK's underground rave community.

Influenced by a broad spectrum of music including Reggae, Dub, Soul, Funk, and Techno, Arkyn has developed a distinctive sound centred around creative sound design, hard-hitting breakbeats, kick drums, weighty sub-bass, and the raw energy of rave culture. Since moving to London in 2019, he has continued to refine his craft, combining old-school influences with contemporary production techniques to create music that feels both timeless and forward-thinking.

As a DJ, Arkyn has become known for delivering high-octane sets that move seamlessly between Jungle, Hardcore, Jungle Techno, and rave-inspired sounds. His energetic approach to programming and crowd connection has led to appearances at some of the scene's most respected events and venues, including Fabric London, Distant Planet, Calling The Hardcore, Rave Stories, N4 Records, Odyssey Sound System, and Foundation Series Berlin. Along the way, he has shared line-ups and gone back-to-back with key figures from across the underground rave scene.

In the studio, Arkyn's productions have earned support through releases on respected labels including Overshadow, 3am Eternal, Music Mondays, Foundation's Records, Hardcore Energy, Motive Hunter Audio and more. He also uses a large amount of retro hardware including, Korg 01W, Roland Alpha Juno2, Roland JV1080, Akai S3000XL, Roland D50 and a 909 drum machine. His catalogue reflects a deep appreciation for rave music's roots while pushing its sound into new territory, blending classic breakbeat science with modern production and dancefloor-focused energy. And it showcases a versatile approach to rave music, ranging from breakbeat-driven Jungle and Hardcore to tougher Jungle Techno and also Gabber excursions under his DJ TUF alias.

Alongside his own music, Arkyn is the founder of TufStuf Records, an independent label dedicated to championing underground rave music and emerging talent. Through both his productions and label output, he continues to contribute to the evolving landscape of UK rave culture while staying true to the DIY ethos that shaped his beginnings.

Away from the clubs, Arkyn is a resident DJ on Eruption Radio, one of the UK's longest-running and most respected underground rave stations, and has also featured on renowned platforms including Centreforce, SWU and KOOL FM.
