Aníbal is a Lisbon-based DJ and curator, and the creative force behind Balagan, a queer party born from his deep connection to music and community.
After spending 8 years in Paris, where he discovered the underground scene and built a strong connection to its energy, he returned to Lisbon with the desire to contribute more actively to nightlife, both behind the scenes and in the booth.
This led to the creation of Balagan, launched in 2023 as a Sunday tea-dance and now grown into one of Lisbon’s most distinctive queer events, known for its inclusive atmosphere and high-energy dancefloors.
Shortly after launching the project, Aníbal stepped into DJing, driven by the desire to shape the musical identity of his own space and to share his vision with the crowd. His sound navigates between techno, hardgroove and trance, infused with nostalgic and emotional elements that create powerful moments on the dancefloor.
Through both his sets and his work as a curator, he contributes to creating queer spaces where freedom, intensity and connection come together. He performs regularly in Lisbon and internationally, including in Paris, a city he considers his second home.
