Æther

Based in Eastern France, Æther has been performing behind the decks for over two and a half years. His journey has been shaped through a wide variety of venues and audiences, from bars and clubs to private parties and electronic music events. This diversity has allowed him to develop a strong understanding of the dancefloor and a genuine ability to adapt to different settings, atmospheres and crowds.

Before defining his current artistic direction, he explored a broad range of musical styles, including commercial music, afro, rap, house, EDM and, of course, techno in its many forms. That curiosity remains at the core of his approach and continues to influence the way he builds and develops his sets. Over time, his project has evolved towards a stronger focus on hardgroove and mental techno. Through his performances, he seeks movement, progression and energy, crafting sets driven by percussive grooves, hypnotic textures and carefully controlled buildups designed to keep the crowd engaged from start to finish.

His influences range from the iconic artists who first introduced him to electronic music to the contemporary techno scene represented by names such as Azyr, Davyboi, X-Club, ANNĒ, Chlär and Alarico. Rather than adhering to a fixed formula, he embraces an open-minded approach where dancefloor impact always comes first.

Alongside his work as a DJ, Æther is actively involved in the development of the local electronic music scene. He notably served as president of the Reims-based collective Soundz, contributing to the creation and organisation of numerous events as well as collaborations between artists, collectives and cultural stakeholders across the region.

He is currently developing his first music productions, with the ambition of extending his artistic identity beyond DJing and gradually building a distinctive universe of his own.
