Ian Scott was born and raised in Seville, Spain. His Scottish mother started introducing music in his life since he was a baby. James Brown, Nina Simone, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder were the first melodies that he started listening. On the other hand, his father who's from Sanlúcar de Barrameda (a small town in the south of Andalusia where the Guadalquivir river ends it´s long journey into the Pacific Ocean), blessed his ears with Flamenco music, such as Manolo de Sanlúcar, Paco de Lucía, Camarón de la Isla, el Capullo de Jerez... With this crazy combination, Ian started being obsessed with music since he gained consciousness. He started playing the guitar on his own when he was twelve years old, reading books and watching videos, plus hours of practice to sharpen his technique. He finished his Bachelor degree in Science and ended up studying Structural Engineering, but that's not what filled his soul, so he decided to work while he was finding what he was actually passionate about. It wasn't long until he realized that what he would like to spend the rest of his days studying and learning about was music, and everything that comes with it. So he started studying a 2 year course of professional djing and musical production, and started meeting people with the same music taste and going out with them to different cities to see our favorite artists. With this last course finished, Ian wants to keep digging in musical psychology, mix & mastering, sound engineering, marketing and whatever it gets him closer to know everything he can about music.
