Fran Domingo

Split between Dubai and Ibiza, Fran Domingo moves fluidly through worlds that celebrate sound, emotion, and atmosphere. Currently a resident DJ at Sirene by GAIA, his recent path has taken him across Dubai’s most magnetic venues: from Alaya, La Sombra, Moe’s on the 5th, and Loona, to private events where his sets unfold like stories written in rhythm.

In Ibiza, he’s played at landmarks such as Pikes, 528, Las Dalias, and select private gatherings that capture the island’s free spirit. For over four years, his “Observatory” radio show has aired twice a month on Openlab (Ibiza & Formentera), sharing space on the waves with artists like Damian Lazarus, Nightmares on Wax, and Bedouin.

With 18 years behind the decks, Fran is an instinctive selector shaped by a lifetime of musical evolution across Berlin, Copenhagen, Seoul, Madrid, and Málaga. His sound is eclectic yet intentional, deep, organic, and emotional, always in sync with the energy of the crowd. He understands the subtle art of the resident DJ, balancing creativity and continuity with precision.

Under his alter ego Hakk, he explores his more underground roots, a raw and hypnotic journey through techno, acid, electro, and experimental house. This side connects deeply with his role as co-founder and label manager of Sungate Records, a respected leftfield imprint with over 60 releases and nearly a decade of vision in the electronic realm.

For Fran, DJing is not performance but presence, a dialogue between sound and space, energy and intention.
