Diego Díaz A.K.A. Delectro is a sound producer, live performer, and DJ from Bogotá. He began developing his sound in 2006, experimenting and mixing fast basslines, metallic drums, and his voice, with a clear influence from 1980s electronic music, blending genres such as EBM, Electro, Techno, and Acid, resulting in a futuristic, dystopian, and industrial sound. After several compilation releases and remixes for artists like Thomas P. Heckmann, and releasing EPs on various labels such as Dame-Music, AFU Limited, Detriti Records, Mecanica Records, Industrias Mekanikas, Rubber Mind, Dancefloor Killers, and I-Traxx Recordings, his tracks like "Mass Destruction," "Missiles," and "Mass Control" (which includes a remix by Bloody Mary) have gained significant support and recognition in the global electronic music scene. Delectro has performed in countries such as Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Germany, Belgium, France, and Spain, sharing the stage with artists like Alec Empire (Atari Teenage Riot), Vitalic, The Horrorist, Fiedel, Sarin, Thomas P. Heckmann, Manu Le Malin, Al Ferox, Equitant, Developer, D. Carbone, Regal, Lorenzo Raganzini & Paolo Ferrara A.K.A. Poli, Crystal Geometry, Radical G, Ethan Fawkes, Velvet May, Alessandro Nero, among others. He has also played at iconic venues such as Tresor West (Dortmund), HÖR Berlin, Moog (Barcelona), Le Sonic (Lyon), Urban Spree (Berlin), Santiago de Chile, Lima, Buenos Aires, and Mexico City. Currently, Delectro is working on his own record label, Complejo Records, focusing on dark electronic music and techno, innovatively blending both worlds. In November 2025, he will release the first vinyl under his new dark electronic music project, D Tron X.
