Cuyo is a DJ, music producer, pianist, and composer. He began his journey in electronic music in a self-taught way at the age of 13, developing his first productions and exploring the digital environment. He is currently studying music production, while complementing his education with studies in composition and piano, having developed his musical training continuously from an early age with different teachers and approaches. His background also includes studies in harmony, arrangement, mixing, and mastering, building a solid technical and musical foundation. As a pianist, he has participated in both educational and concert settings, including a performance at the International Piano Cycle of Montevideo at Teatro Solís. He has also taken part in international experiences such as the “Anastasios Leimonis” Piano Festival and Academy in Greece, where he attended masterclasses with internationally recognized musicians. In parallel, he develops his project as a DJ and producer, performing in different venues and constantly working on new tracks and remixes. His experience as a DJ complements his studio work, creating a direct connection between music selection and production. Over the years, he has developed his own workflow, with strong command of professional tools such as Ableton Live and an integral approach that spans from composition to mixing and mastering. He is currently focused on developing new releases, with the goal of continuing to grow as an artist and positioning his project within the electronic music scene.
