Born and raised in Puerto Rico, DJSashha’s journey began as a fan, evolving from event promoter and Staffing to one of its most respected DJs. Specializing in Liquid Drum & Bass but equally at home with other genres like Neuro and house. Since 2017, Sashha has earned residencies, opened for global acts and performed at renowned venues in PR. A graduate in the Music Industry, DJ Sashha brings both technical mastery and artistic passion to her craft, always committed to representing Puerto Rican talent and female DJ’s world wide. She has always felt that music was part of her identity. “Music basically picked me—it was always in me; I just needed the right place to discover it and express it,” she quotes. That place turned out to be the island’s underground electronic community, where she first worked as an event promoter before finding her true calling as a DJ in 2017. Her specialty is Liquid Drum & Bass, but she thrives in exploring the genre’s darker edges—Neuro, Jungle, Minimal, Rollers—while also embracing the soulful grooves of House music. Her eclectic taste has set her apart on both local and international stages. This versatility quickly placed her among Puerto Rico’s top DJs, earning her first international opportunity in 2018 and three residencies (2019, 2022 and 2023) that showcased her ability to consistently hold the stage. Over the years, she has opened for artists such as NVRSOFT, Claptone, Green Velvet, Makoto, and GORDO, while also performing at iconic venues including Vivo Beach Club, Club Epic, Jardin Botanico de Caguas, The Art Museum of Puerto Rico, FiftyEight and the Vanderbilt Hotel. During the pandemic, Sashha adapted and expanded her reach by connecting with global audiences, collaborating through virtual festivals, radio collaborations, across global radio platforms, and active streaming, reaching listeners from all Puerto Rico to the UK, Russia and India. In 2024, determined to take her career even further, she graduated in Sound Engineering and Music Production from the Liceo Institution of Puerto Rico—adding technical mastery to her artistic instinct. Now, selective with her appearances she continues to perform at high-profile events, including the First Puerto Rican edition of the Let It Roll World Tour in 2025. Sashha is a DJ full of surprises, she sees her role not just as a performer, but as a representative of Puerto Rican culture and female DJs worldwide. Her sound is as much about energy and connection as it is about music—always evolving, always true to her roots.
