Biographie

Raised in the mountains of Guarne, Colombia DJ and producer, NEJ is inspired by the timeless sound of ambient and deep, which he develops with minimalist textures, atmospheres and deep pads. Although understated, NEJ has remained relevant since 2014, becoming a key figure in the region within the deep genre. NEJ invites the connection of the being with the source of frequency, creating soundscapes that transcend the physical, inspired by the divine.

For one of his most recent releases, NEJ appears on one of our favorite labels, Dosis Records, based in Santiago, Chile. Alltid is a collection of eight original tracks forming the Colombian artist’s new LP, developed over a long creative process deep in the Colombian jungle. The album reflects a profound and introspective approach to techno, shaped by isolation, natural surroundings, and a strong emphasis on atmosphere and sonic detail.
