Josh Baker

Josh Baker is a DJ, producer, and event curator from Manchester, UK, celebrated for his vibrant and timeless approach to house music. His passion for electronic sounds began in his teenage years after discovering the city’s underground scene and attending iconic clubs such as Sankeys. Influenced by artists like Apollonia and Sven Väth, Baker developed a sound that merges nostalgic house grooves with fresh, modern textures — marked by driving basslines, rhythmic precision, and vocal hooks that energize the dance floor.

In 2015, Baker founded You&Me, an underground party brand that quickly became a staple in Manchester’s nightlife and expanded internationally to cities like Leeds, Newcastle, and Ibiza. The success of You&Me led to the creation of You&Me Records, as well as Hide&Seek Festival and SYNTHO, an artist-development platform dedicated to supporting emerging talent. Through these projects, Baker has built a reputation not only as a talented performer but also as a visionary entrepreneur shaping the UK electronic scene.

As of 2025, Josh Baker continues to perform at major festivals and clubs across Europe, including Parklife and The Warehouse Project. His philosophy centers on authenticity, community, and long-term growth, believing that true success comes from patience and dedication to the craft. With each release and performance, Baker reinforces his position as one of the most promising and forward-thinking figures in contemporary underground house music.
