Bretterling, also known as Peter Jost, discovered his love for music at an early age. At 13, his parents gave him a mixing console, which he used extensively to practice and develop his skills. After six years of playing Drum and Bass with the Out of Control Crew, he took a two-year break. During that time, he rediscovered his old love for techno and gradually began to focus more on playing techno again. His genres center around hardgroove, trance, and bounce. His driving beats and rapid switches give his style a truly unique character. “For me, mixing is like telling a story,” he says. “Most of my sets have structure and feel like a journey through my chaotic mind.” The name Bretterling says it all — he’s here to hit you hard with his sound.
