SŮNNYSIDE is a Bogotá-based artist navigating the space where rhythm becomes ritual. Drawing from the depths of latin bass and hypnotic club music, SŮNNYSIDE constructs sonic landscapes that dissolve the boundary between the dance floor and the inner world — where the body moves and the mind surrenders. Rooted in the rich rhythmic heritage of Latin America yet reaching toward something ancient and borderless, SŮNNYSIDE's sound is a ceremony in motion. Each set is a journey inward, built on layers of pulsing bass, hypnotic percussion, and textures that linger long after the music fades. The debut EP AXÉ — released in 2026 — marks the first formal statement of this vision. A two-track offering, the EP takes its name from the Yoruba-Brazilian concept of axé: the vital force that flows through all living things, the invisible energy that makes things happen, that blesses, that moves. It is not a casual title. It is an intention. Both tracks are rooted in latin bass — warm, deep, and rhythmically alive — but carrying beneath them something older and more restless. The music doesn't rush to arrive anywhere. It settles into the body slowly, the way a ceremony does, building tension and release through texture and repetition rather than spectacle.
