RIGOROS.

RIGOROS is a techno project based in Freiburg, Germany, known for its raw, hypnotic soundscapes infused with mystical elements drawn from Nordic mythology. The queer artist behind RIGOROS crafts intense, dark, and melodically driven DJ sets that create an immersive journey – equally at home in intimate underground venues and on large festival stages. The name “RIGOROS” reflects a strict and uncompromising musical approach. This concept extends beyond the sound and into the visual identity and track titles, which are inspired by ancient Germanic language and symbolism – most notably the rune Raidho, a symbol of rhythm, movement, and perspective. Originating from the Black Forest region, the artist began mixing electronic music at the age of 15, influenced early on by acts like Underworld, Faithless, and The Chemical Brothers. By 18, he became a fixture in Freiburg’s club scene, playing across the region at outdoor raves and club nights. At 23, RIGOROS was founded – a project now known for delivering hypnotic, powerful techno rooted in ritualistic energy and sonic precision. Key musical influences include Recondite, Florian Meindl, and Introversion.
