MORASAKI

Morasaki is a Mexico-born, Spain-based DJ whose musical journey has evolved through different sides of electronic music, always driven by curiosity, movement and a strong connection with the dancefloor.

His journey behind the decks began with Electro, Indie Dance and Dark Disco, exploring groove-driven rhythms, darker atmospheres and the space between electronic music and club culture. This early stage became the foundation for a broader musical identity, allowing him to develop a versatile approach to DJing and an appreciation for different forms of rhythm, tension and energy.

As his sound evolved, Morasaki gradually moved towards a more intense and physical direction, incorporating elements of Hypnotic Techno, Hard Groove and Hard Bounce into his sets. His current sound combines driving percussion, hypnotic patterns, powerful basslines and high-energy grooves, creating sets that can move between tension, euphoria and raw club energy without being restricted to a single formula.

Rather than approaching genres as fixed boundaries, Morasaki sees them as different tools within the same musical language. His sets are built around progression and energy, adapting to the atmosphere of the room and allowing each performance to develop naturally. From hypnotic and groove-focused passages to more explosive moments, his objective is always the same: to create a physical and immersive experience on the dancefloor.

Originally from Mexico and now based in Bilbao, Spain, Morasaki has continued developing his identity within the European underground electronic scene. His work extends beyond DJing, with an active involvement in the creative and visual side of electronic music, including event culture, audiovisual content and the development of his own artistic universe.

His identity is strongly connected to underground rave culture, combining music with a distinctive visual language influenced by futuristic, cyberpunk and contemporary rave aesthetics. This connection between sound and image has become an important part of the Morasaki project, allowing the artist to build an experience that exists beyond the DJ booth.

Today, Morasaki represents an evolving sound that connects his Mexican roots with his experience within Spain's electronic music scene. His approach is constantly developing, but the core remains unchanged: groove, energy, atmosphere and a genuine connection with the crowd.
