Kurgans

The name behind Kurgans is Marcelo Pérez, a DJ & producer from Venezuela influenced by Electronic Music since he was a little child. Specifically by Trance, Techno and House from the late 90's & Early 2000's.

Marcelo started practicing his DJ skills at the age of 11, and his first musical productions at the age of 15. Since then , Marcelo has developed his skills as a Techno producer with his series of EP's called "Techno Groove", where he unleashes his taste for agressive sounds and groovie structures.

In 2025, Marcelo decides to separate his creative vision into another alias (Marcelo David) where he explores other genres of Electronic Music besides Techno, being able to connect again with a more melodic style of production inspired in its House & Trance influences, and leaving the Techno productions for the Kurgans alias. Marcelo also founded his own label called "Free Your Mind Music" under the motto "Groove Matters". With it, he wants to offer a proper space for alll the Electronic Music lovers, based on the perspective of what Electronic Music really means to him: True connections and creativity without restrictions.
