Imar

Imar is a DJ born in the Canary Islands, and musically grown in different scenes and genres. First London, then Barcelona and Madrid, and now Porto. First techno and IDM, then house and minimal. Tight, but very rich and complex range of influences.

His style is deep, fresh, eclectic, colorful… A cosmic trip with a lot of groove. He loves the playfulness of vinyl, and the accuracy of digital, but what he loves the most is the power of those formats combination. He started as a resident in one of the few remaining after hours in Barcelona in 2016. In 2022 he co-founded Euphorbia, open air events started in his family's beautiful farmhouse in Fuerteventura, and he is now residing in Porto.

Meanwhile, he has also been releasing his first music productions on his personal Bandcamp. You can see him focusing on techno and IDM under Imar, or playing house and minimal as Dr. Kobayashi.
