GICCA

GICCA, known artistically as govsna/gicca, is a DJ, visual artist and audiovisual producer. Her practice is rooted in a contemporary and experimental approach, where sound, image and aesthetics intersect. Through her sets, she develops an ongoing musical research that moves between genres such as acid house, liquid house, drum and bass and other electronic strands, creating narratives that blend textures, rhythms and atmospheres. Her sound avoids the obvious, balancing intensity and subtlety to build immersive and unpredictable experiences. She has brought her musical curation to clubs and parties in southern Brazil, such as Detroit and Delicious, while continuously exploring new possibilities within electronic music.
