CHRIS HEX C | CHXC

Cristobal Vargas Caballero, better known as CHXC, is a rising DJ based in Lexington, North Carolina. He’s been immersed in EDM since his teenage years, starting out mixing tracks with just headphones and a DJ app. What began as a hobby reignited in late 2022 and early 2023 when he decided to take his passion deeper and push his sound to the next level. Inspired by heavyweights like Don Diablo, Moksi, Nostalgix, Longstoryshort, Martin Garrix, Odd Mob, and both old and new school influences, CHXC’s sets are a unique blend of neo nostalgia with a heavy or groovy twist. Whether it’s house, drum & bass, or techno, his performances transport the crowd on a journey that’s both futuristic and unforgettable. His DJ journey started online, playing for multiple friends’ radio shows. By late 2024 and into 2025, he took the next step onto live stages, performing for collectives like Groove Lab, SubsentiA, and Ocelot around Winston-Salem and Greensboro. Known for his iconic smile and magnetic energy behind the decks, CHXC is all about giving people an experience they’ll remember. Don’t miss him — he’s leveling up and ready to make this summer one to remember.
