Movement Monday is a weekly sunset gathering on the iconic St. Pete Pier that brings together dancers, performers, and electronic music lovers for a high-energy, open-air experience. Hosted by Angela Presnell, Maria Toscano, and Zion Baker, the event transforms the Pier into a vibrant dance floor overlooking Tampa Bay. I was invited to DJ during Movement Monday’s 7–9pm programming, providing a groove-driven electronic set that guided the energy from golden hour into dusk. The event regularly draws 200+ attendees, creating a dynamic, movement-driven crowd and strong real-time interaction between DJ, dancers, and audience. Held every Monday at 600 2nd Ave. NE, St. Petersburg, Movement Monday is free and open to all ages, attracting locals, visitors, and passersby alike. When the music starts, the crowd finds its way.
