Phil is a DJ from Essen whose musical roots are deeply embedded in house culture. Growing up with his father’s record collection himself bringing over 25 years of club experience. Phil developed a strong passion for electronic music at an early age. His refined sense of rhythm became evident during his youth as a drummer in a band. Today, Phil blends Melodic House, Tech House, Groovy House, and Afro House into sets known for their diversity, harmonic tension, and clear emotional impact. He creates a distinctive dynamic by skillfully combining current house releases with timeless classics, precisely tailored to the mood and energy of the crowd. Monotony has no place in his performances. Each night unfolds with its own unique dramaturgy, perfectly shaped for the moment. For over three years, Phil has been behind the decks for the event series Houselujah and Project Rue and is a regular presence in Essen clubs such as Westend, Hotel Shanghai, and Hudson’s. His musical journey has taken him from intimate bar nights to large open-air stages with more than a thousand guests, as well as international performances. including the Selnia Beach Club in Tulum, Mexico. For Phil, DJing is an expression of his long-standing connection to house music and a desire to bring people together through perfectly curated musical moments.
