niemba

From being in a church choir at age 7, to studying GCSE Music to then going on to study Music performance at A-Level, niemba is now a Music Technology graduate that self releases.

Influenced by KAYTRANADA and his infectious polyrhythms, niemba released “Tuesday” which is a track worth noting in which they managed to take the side effects of unhealthy connections, the mental and emotional chaos of it all and transform them into an upbeat, let-your-hair-down moment on January 31st 2025.

Similar to Steve Lacy, they first started out on GarageBand, experimenting with production, c.2017. They still rely on the app on their iPhone to map out projects, before transporting them (airdropping) to Logic Pro on Mac and MacBook for further mixing and mastering. Lover of 808s, analog synths and synth bass, niemba is a sonic powerhouse with honeyed vocals, now ready to let the world in.
