One flow, two souls. Namur, where Bardy grew up, sits at the exact point where the Sambre merges into the Meuse. Follow the water north and it runs straight through Liège, home of Chris Hingher. Two cities, one current, and eventually one sound: Konfluence, the Afro & Melodic House duo born where two musical worlds meet.
Before they merged, each had carved his own path. Between them, Bardy and Chris Hingher had played WMC Miami, ADE Amsterdam, La Folie Douce in the French Alps and City Parade in Belgium, and spent more than a decade shaping «Musique Gastronomique», an event concept pairing fine food with fine music. Fifteen years of friendship and countless shared dancefloors later, joining forces was less a decision than a natural course, the way water always finds its way.
Their first EP, «Karusha», surfaced in 2023 on the Belgian label Deep in Your Soul. But it was «Afwekadi», released the following year, that revealed what Konfluence really sounds like: hypnotic percussion rolling under mystical vocals, melodies that pull you somewhere warmer. The track travelled fast and far, landing in the sets of Black Coffee, Kasango and Enzo Siffredi, three names that need no introduction in the Afro House world.
What followed was not a lucky streak but a flow. «Dark Dancer», «Filimbi», «Alavi», «Kissongo» and «Ingala» earned the support of international DJs like Antdot, Loulou Players and Lemon & Herb, before the «Both Of Us» EP on Go Deeva Records closed 2025 on a high. Then 2026 opened the floodgates: a run of international releases on Songspire, All That Matter and Sunlove Music, crowned by «Flor da Imperatriz» on Nervous Records, the legendary New York label that helped write house music history.
On stage, the duo trades the studio's precision for something more physical. Their sets are organic, spiritual and relentlessly danceable, honed in Belgium's finest clubs and events, from Zoo Club and Tantrum to the 24 Hours of Spa Francorchamps, Ronquières Festival and carried as far as the Tomorrowland Store rooftop in Ibiza.
Tomorrowland, precisely, is where the current turned into a wave. Multiple performances at Tomorrowland Winter 2025 in Alpe d'Huez. A summer debut at the world's greatest festival, Tomorrowland (BE), that same year. Then 2026: back to the mountains to play The Cage, the second biggest stage of Tomorrowland Winter, before returning to Boom for both weekends of Tomorrowland (BE), an honour reserved for a select few, and a clear signal that Konfluence now belongs among Europe's most exciting Afro & Melodic House acts.
Yet ask them what drives it all and the answer is not the stages, it is the gatherings. Konfluence created Jardins Sonores, an open-air series set in the gardens of Annevoie and Maillen where music blends with nature, and KFLNZ, their own collection of one-off experiences, secret boat parties included. And every summer, the Love Boat sails from Namur, a floating party on the very waters that connect their two hometowns. The circle, like the water, keeps moving.
Konfluence is what happens when two currents become one: music that connects people, on and off the dancefloor. New music is on the way. Follow the flow.
