Biografie
Gonzalo Risso 🇦🇷, born August 4, 1991. His passion for music began at an early age, teaching himself piano and guitar. As he grew up, his love for house music expanded, leading him to start his career as a producer and DJ in 2010. Since then, he has released on renowned labels such as Nervous, Material, and Cocoa, receiving support from top artists like Mau P, Jay de Lys, Chelina Manuhutu, Angel Heredia, and Claudia Tejeda. He has also performed at some of the most important clubs in the local scene, including Pacha (Argentina) and Bahrein. His style is deeply influenced by hip hop, marked by powerful basslines, punchy kicks, and the signature groove that defines his productions. How did you get your name? My artistic name is actually my real name only with one of my two last names, although I like "akas" but I preferred to use my real name since many of the artists I like use their real name with some other variation. How did you get into Producing? I started to listen to electronic music from a very young age and it always caught my attention what it generated in me and in others, this led me to study musical production oriented in electronic music at EMBA, it was a very nice and new process for me I had knowledges of mixing but I had never used a daw, once I started I could not stop, I remember that time with a lot of affection. What did you do to advance your skills/knowledge? Practice, practice and more practice, always looking to improve and achieve the sound I was looking for, my studies helped me a lot but also advice from colleagues, you never stop learning, there are always new techniques to incorporate. What did your first set up look like? / What does your current setup look like? My first set up was and is the same as now: 2 cdj and a mixer, depending on where I play this may vary but the one I have in my home is that. If you could produce for any artist (dead or alive), who would it be? I would like very much to make a collaboration with anabel englund, I love what she does with lee foss. What is your goal when you create? My goal is always the same, make music that makes you dance, that makes you forget your worries, always looking to achieve the best possible sound. What's your go-to song right now? My favorite song of the moment is "Smashing Up" by Javi Bora. What is your dream as a Producer? My dream as a producer is to reach as many people as possible, see them dance my music, enjoy it and feel it, the feedback of people much more valuable than all the money in the world. What is some advice you would give to someone with a dream to become a Producer? Never give up, a lot of dedication, love for music and something very important listen to ALL kinds of music. La Chola Records apuesta al sonido de productores argentinos con una selección de tracks titulada "ARGENTINA 2022". El pasado viernes 11/03 salió "ARGENTINA 2022", el último lanzamiento del sello discográfico español. El álbum cuenta con una selección de tracks solo de productores argentinos como Ariel Sacone, Davalo, Diego Bustamante, Diego Sosa, Figueredo (AR), Funk Off (AR), Gonzalo Risso, Groover (ARG), Guido Farias, iicchigo, Lautaro Bidegain, Martin Bordacahar, Titech. Abraham Ramos, dueño de la discográfica oriunda de Islas Canarias, apostó por el sonido del Tech House argentino ya que le llamó la atención el talento que hay dentro nuestro país. Dicha apuesta no tardó en dar sus frutos, ya que solo a unos días de su lanzamiento, algunos de los tracks que integran el álbum ingresaron dentro chart TOP 100 de Beatport. El álbum está integrado por once (11) tracks de Tech House, con un groove marcado, cargados de swing, y líneas de bajo dinámicas, con la pista de baile como claro destino.
