Gerardo Cole (Mexico City, México) is a Mexican DJ, producer and composer based in Barcelona, Spain, acclaimed in the international underground electronic music scene. His sound merges Latin percussion, organic textures and melodic techno, giving rise to a distinctive style defined by emotional depth, rhythmic intensity, and hypnotic transitions. Career & Artistic Path Gerardo Cole began his musical journey in the late 1990s as a rock drummer, which grounded his rhythmic sensibilities and instrumental understanding. In 2001, he discovered electronic music as his true medium, shifting his focus to production, DJ sets and sonic storytelling in the underground terrain. In 2009, his career entered a new phase when he placed 4th at the European level and 1st among international DJs at the Expo Deejay Barcelona competition. This milestone led to his artistic residence in Spain and catalyzed his international trajectory across Europe, Latin America and beyond. Sound & Artistic Identity Gerardo’s sound is often described as organic techno with ritualistic and melodic layers. Discography & Projects In 2025, Gerardo Cole released his “Lokomaniac” album — a retro-futuristic sonic journey inspired by the classic sounds of the 80s and 90s.
