DUPØUY is a Venezuelan DJ and producer based in Chile whose work is built around an architectural techno approach: dry, direct, and focused on the physical force of the dancefloor. His sound prioritizes rhythmic density and textural design — a raw, mental aesthetic that constructs sustained tension through precise percussion, abrasive layers and a narrative-driven sonic arc. His recent run of releases underscores that coherence: “Negroni de clavos” on the inaugural TNGNT VA 001 (2024); Submecanophobia on Diffuse Reality (May 2025); the Dissonant Veil EP for Hardtools (HT094), featuring club-ready cuts like Velo de Medianoche; and Ausencia De Luz on Concepto Hipnótico (July 2025), a release defined by compact low-ends, incisive percussion and solemn atmospheres that work both in half-time textures and full-energy peaks. These records position him as an artist who crafts material for maximum impact in the club context. On stage, DUPØUY has been a fixture of Chile’s underground circuit—playing at events such as Sehnsucht, DAME, Technoyouth—where his sets are noted for their narrative coherence and uncompromising intensity. As co-founder of TNGNT, he also helps push national producers onto an international axis.
